Well, I had thought that this cartoon would be one of your extras that would run on Saturday, but I had three caricature gigs this weekend, so things got backed up. We’ll have to see if I can manage a couple more on Thursday and Saturday this week. Cross your fingers or toes or something. But don’t ask me to do another caricature job for a week or so.
ADDITIONAL INFO: got back into the studio only to discover that the cartoon didn’t go up today! Nuts! For the first time I got a red “Missed Schedule” notification. I don’t know why it missed updating. I didn’t click something somewhere yesterday when I loaded the cartoon. Sorry ’bout that!!

Yay! Celebratory Saturday extra cartoon on Monday!
Bike rides are on the house!
I’ll behave for a few weeks, Greg, I promise.
Amen on work darkening your doorstep 🙂 We’ll wait for Hubris until you get there. We always do.
Yeah, I’ve been there in Hubris’ shoes. Doing shows and carefully explaining to shop help (working off their supplies bill) or booth-babe, about how I get to do the good stuff and they’re getting paid to do the mundane… (I always paid well but!!!!! It’s nice to have rank and privilege sometimes)
Wouldn’t surprise me if she quit and he had to hire Lowell. ‘Job’ training (as in working for a living) hasn’t been ‘trending’ for the past few decades.
nice one there hubris . that’s one way to get her to start working. at least till he comes back and finds lowel returned and scared her off. or paste crawled out from his little skateboard park.
hubris NEVER claimed to be the classic boss after all hehe
I must admit that I was feeling a bit skeptical about Nikki for a bit — first she came in telling Hubris to give her Bob’s job, and then yelling “Get out of my store!” to Lowell, right along with Hubris. Methinks she doth presume too much — or does she?
So I was pleasantly surprised to see Hubris assert that, however exhausted and in need of assistance, he IS still the boss and this is HIS store. And after the most recent madness, he is more than deserving of a celebratory bike ride.
