Extra comic! The extra comics, for those who don’t know, are because especially nice amounts have been dropped into the Tip Jar. There are a couple of ways to make sure Hubris lives here, and that’s one of them. Patreon is another. We’re five years in, now, and I think I have five years sort of figured out in advance. Meaning, I know what the final Hubris story will be in five years, and I like it. I want to get to tell it. If everyone who reads Hubris (like they say in the PBS fundraisers) gave a dollar a month (easily done on Patreon) then that five years would be extended out farther and Hubris would live on as long as you guys are patrons. On the other hand, Hubris is time consuming and it wouldn’t take a major catastrophe for me to have to back off and do more advertising work and less Hubris.
Wow. That got grim. Feel free to ignore the grim and read this instead: EXTRA HUBRIS CARTOON TODAY! I think I can have another for you on Saturday, along with your regular update tomorrow!!
Ooh, a repeat of Outdoor Galore at SportsMart because of Cthula, Dub, and Bluto still on the loose? Yeah Yeah Yeah!
(I did do the click on the orangish gold and grey P that says Team Hubris on the left side there, and I’m a Patreon subscriber. Still loving the Great Swag Greg laid on me too! It’s easy! Keep Hubris around FOREVER!)(the goldish and red You & Hubris is the Tip Jar. For every $50 he gets, Greg gives two more Hubris strips… the tips accumulate 🙂 )
Nice comic artist here, guys. Be a shame if anything happened to him. Like walking into the business end of a tall building. But, you know, accidents happen. Now, what I’m proposing is “accident” insurance. Know what I mean?
I’ll be waiting in aisle 7.
Sweet biscuits (as Poncho from ‘Pooch Cafe’ would say) — as aggravating as Lowell has often been, this is the first time that he is actually making me nervous. I’m not sure whether Mal is oblivious to the menace that Lowell is exuding, or if he is and is just masking it. Either way, I feel uneasy, and am wondering if we’re in for a dark and disturbing turn. Hubris had once said that however emotionally distraught, he didn’t believe Lowell to be dangerous. Maybe not then, but looking at him now, I fear that that may change.
