There’s lots of different kinds of doctors. Anesthesiologists, Sports doctors, Orthopedists, Witch, and this one guy who used to run for city council around here. He had his first name changed to ‘Doctor’ after there was some sort of scandal over what his educational background was. I can’t remember now what the allegations were.
I’m kidding. You can guess, though, can’t you?

There are also doctors of soul, of rock music and one that’s kind of in the middle I guess… Doctor Feelgood and Doctor Teeth (& the Electric Mayhem). I can’t remember the name of the soul doctor… Or wait, that was a line From a song… Anyway, lotsa kinds of doctors. ^_^;;
P.S. Do Not piss off the nurses! They actually Run the whole place and Will react like a hive of very nasty hornets if taken for granted.

Ok, this is the fifth strip featuring a new character. I take that to mean he’s going to be a player in story development. The question is: as what?
Romantic entanglement? For Kara or Nikki?
Character growth? For Paste or Nikki?
Commercial involvement? For clinic or store?
Anybody got anything else?

I assumed, due to the foretelling in earlier strips, that he was romantic entanglement for Dr Biner, but he’s too sodding annoying. She prefers relaxing.
He’s an anaesthesiologist, so could (sorry Steve) become the usual PSA about taking too many drugs (what did he take before he drove all that way, for example? Is he hazy from pain, or from pain med O.D.?) but I’m hoping he will have a different storyline altogether, something unexpected. Who knows. He has potential.
I think he was Kara’s foil. A way to vent her frustration that Hubris do not follow her medical and dietetical advise. So now that he has accomplished his mission, he will be gone and probably never heard of again.

After a certain point, I get sleepy or lazy or something. I offer no particular guarantees that anyone’s minor details- earrings, chin stubble, hair dye… will remain the same from panel to panel. I often promise myself that I’ll go through and fix everything when I’m getting the book collections together… but I might get sleepy or lazy or something…
It depends, Greg’s characters often run away with his plot….
