    I said the same thing, just last month.
    People just don’t seem to “get me”. For 27 years (since I was 5!) I’ve been trying to “change to be a different person, who isn’t so annoying and can actually keep the friends he makes.” but it hasn’t worked. I still have very few actual friends. OH well, c’est le vie.

    Sadly, I actually used to have a friend that was like this. (hence my reply to yesterday’s comments… I understand that there are some Reeellleee clueless people out there like this.)
    I finally just couldn’t put an accepting spin on the relationship any more and had to walk away. Just couldn’t take the stress of trying not to throttle her every time there was even a little something she didn’t agree with and that she had decided meant she had to fight tooth and claw about it until the other person just either walked away or clocked her. (which was quite often)
    [shakes head & poofs again]
