In the Moment, Dude (translates to) in your basement, duuuude.
Yeah what happened to Paste? Since he’s under 14 there’s labor laws to deal with. Kids working in the family store are sort of overlooked but Paste was working for SportSmart instead of Outdoor Galore.
Gee, wonder if Ed Honcho still got in trouble after all, because of having an under working age minor working at the store. (14-15 can work in some states but they have limited times of day they can work and limited numbers of hours they can work a week)….
What I wonder is if the “three strikes rule” comes into play with that sort of thing… Paste Might just be strike three for Ed Honcho. In which case, Hubris’s competition just got culled out a bit. };-}
Since Bob was working for SportsMart in order to get on the team, he may still be on the payroll, assuming that Lowell is still too busy chasing balloons to deal with HR issues. I’m thinking Paste is hanging out in SportsMart while Lowell is gone, chowing down on unprotected Clif bars and Gu packets.
I’ve dealt with that type before. Give them a little and suddenly you have a dependent. Flip side is that he probably forgot to fill out those pesky HR files and never got paid for “working” at SportsMart.
Bob did have to be working there so on the kickoff day he was in the corp clothing (wearing a SHIRT AND VEST AND PANTS) with a nametag, and he said ‘I conformed. I drank the orange koolaid.’ So he was at least there one day at SportSmart. Paste was there for a good week or more by the looks of it; so. Paste probably has a job until HR figures out he’s 13 or Ms Wiggins-Ross checked it or something. I’d say Bob has a filled out employment ap with similar things written on it behind the counter at SportSmart and I doubt he even had a timecard….

I know Paste worked on SportsMart … I thought Bob stayed at Outdoor Galore?

I forgot that what has taken Greg 18 or so months to show here, was “really” just a week or two in the comic. LOL
