I believe that stick-to-it-ive-ness was important to ol’ Billy Bob, here. Â Rather than try to salvage his score by backing down the ladder and trying the challenge front-way-’round, he persevered.
And in the same way that your average fourteen year old will try to bring in all the groceries in one trip from the car and wind up breaking the eggs, the pickle jar, and leaving most of a gallon of milk spreading on the front stoop, Billy Bob is gonna leave some things broken that were better left intact, and better left for a second run.
I’m pretty sure he was disqualified any way for removing the safety line
There’s no runner for a top line on that side of the wall, so a safety line wouldn’t have helped him. Still, it’s funny.
At this rate, US won’t be up for a couple hours.
Popcorn?
Nah … it’ll go stale before March 2021, when we get ready to go up. đŸ˜€
Why would he NOT use that structural framework (directly behind the buzzer) as a ladder-substitute, to reach the button?
The footholds might be a tad ‘diagonal’, but they’re about the same vertical spacing as the ladder.
Teem Beer. Say no more.
plus there’s no way the rest of the crowd will politely wait in line while he breaks the rules. C’mon
Hopefully by now at least they’ve got a full inventory on all the little red wagon contestants…. maybe.
Extra props for being able to climb over to the timer button and reach over to hit it. Now for him to climb back down.
