I get that way about caricature gigs. Nervous and jumpy for days beforehand. I’ve never been on a caricature gig that warranted any worry, but yet I always do. Crazy dreams and all.

It’s okay Greg. At least you’re all prewarned about what could happen then. Just have an adult beverage or two before bed and it will help. Heh.
or finish the bottle of sport related drinks and keep waking up to pee so no time for bad dreams lol
Yay! Crazy! You can market crazy!
You can’t market stuff that everyone else already does.
lol i am not sure what you both have to complain about having bad nights just the days before events.
since i am a kid, because i grew mostly in a clinic, i am insomniac mostly. but when i sleep i also get those very weird dreams that could traumatize some people if they think too much about it.
so if it would happen just here and there personally i wouldn’t complain at all.
even more i would even book more events if that means its the night some odd dreams happen lol
I enjoy weird or crazy dreams. I love to wake up and think to myself, “WTF was that all about?” It’s the nightmares I hate. I’ve actually had nightmares where I sat up straight and started screaming at the top of my lungs! Woke up our neighbors in the apartment above us doing that.
My dreams are often other’s nightmares. Bladder alarm is 85 times more likely to roll me out than dreaming. I wish my bladder had a snooze button. During the diabetes interlude, it would be get up every two hours for bladder call then have to wick up at least 20 oz of water because of being so parched you were going to blow away. My spouse caught me snoring on the toilet a few times… who dreams or remembers with roll-call like that?
The movie Groundhog Day, someone did an analysis of what Bill Murray did and achieved by the time he finally got a ‘different’ day, and estimated 10 to 40 YEARS. 10 at least to become that proficient at piano. Up to 40 to have learned all those things about everyone by asking a question here and there every day. He ended up integrating in like he’d grown up there and knew everyone…. 3,650 days (not counting leap days) of the same exact day. Ick.
That’s why I became a dream walker. o3o So I don’t dream weird shit before I go on vacation or a big event because I have major anxiety. I can control my dreams, see in color, do whatever I want in my dreams, sometimes can even smell and taste things in my dreams as well as feel things.
One can think of dreams as a training exercise sorta like having contractions during a pregnancy. Can you imagine what it would be like playing a full game of football without training for it? That is what giving birth must be like. That’s not original from me but from an article in “Reader’s Digest” many moons ago. I#m sorry the content is what sticks and not who the author was.
