One of my favorite old comic strips was Dennis The Menace.
I remember one gag where Dennis and Joey are looking over a disemboweled machine and Dennis tells Joey (who’s holding out a hammer) “You can’t fix no alarm clock with a big ol’ hammer! Bring me a little hammer.”
I don’t really have a point to make about that except Hank Ketcham was funny, and it’s gonna take a big hammer to get Lowell’s wagon rolling again.
Count on Hubris, to have a stash of FixRup parts. Might be easier and cheaper to get a new one, but nope, pump 3x the parts into it and your PRIDE and get it rolling again. To once more being shredded five minutes later. Ah…. the life!
so… like classic cars?
Lowell is starting to get it. He’s doing it because he loves it, just as Hubris is. Do I detect a friendship possibly forming?
OH MY GOD! LOWELL IS OPENING UP HIS MIND TO A NEW WAY OF LIFE!
hehe
Is it me, or does every time Lowell levels up in humanity, he gets thinner?
*Raccoons not included.
I just love that Lowell finally gets it. Maybe it’s the quarantine talking, but I’m genuinely happy to see him understanding the wild, reckless glee of Hubris’s giant festival of Calvinball.
You win. That’s a magnificent way to describe the SportsFests.
Lowell has learned.
Life is about having fun.
Fix that wagon up Lowell and……..remember R. Crumb
Keep on Trucking!
Is Lowell’s hair getting lighter too? I think he’s evolving into something likeable.
I built a wagon for my daughter years ago. They’re really not that complicated.
Omg! Are big L and hubris bonding? After all this time? Yasss!!
