I can see how architects and interior designers would really like the opportunity to just noodle around on rooms as though they had all the time in the world.
That first panel was kinda fun.

Yes and the Missus can have a periodic attack of ‘redecorating’ to suit whatever Greg wants to draw that pass. 🙂
And the plot thickens… Hm. They’re all righties too.
Paste meets his greatest enemy: Geek-ness.
Cast thine shadow upon mine doorstep no more, accursed salad fork!
why does it make me think of stuff like ‘days of our lives’ to see them like that?
I was kind of worried that with Paste moving back in with his parents that we’d see less of him.
But not only was my fear unwarranted, I’ve loved the addition of mom and David as characters.
Greg – first panel! CARLAISLE – not Carlaile! David would not ‘misspell’ Paste’s name! Or ‘mispronounce’? What does one do when there’s a boo-boo in a comic dialogue balloon?
You do just what you did here- jump on the comments and let me know. When I have a chance, I’ll change the misspelling, then, months from now, when someone is reading the comments, they’ll think you’re crazy for pointing out a misspelling that isn’t there. Awesome. Very awesome.
Well … it’s been 6 hours, and it’s STILL miss spelled … so I think we’re safe, that Greg has forgotten to change it. 😉
PLEASE – I just know you are messing with me now! ‘Miss spell’? Who’s she?! ?
Sorry … I’be gob a colb anb my bain itant working properly… *sniff hack cough*
I haven’t forgotten. There just hasn’t been time yet.
The kid changed his name. We’ll adjust. He *still* wants to be called Paste, so everything that’s important is still consistent.
All bases covered 🙂 [ and “basis” too ]
I’m happy to be seen as a crackpot, as long as the spelling is correct! Years of teaching and editing English!!
why would you be a ‘crackpot’ with your so kindly behavior. I can’t help but wonder.
I always took it that you REALLY wanted us to hate these people. But the more this goes on, the more I see them.. healing as PEOPLE. They’ve gotten so far into their station, that they’ve lost a lot of what it meant to be a family. Paste has actually started caring about more than a temporary flash of attention, and the two archetypes for greed and privilege are acting HUMAN. Bravo good sir.
That is beautiful dialogue. I love the way Paste thinks they are congratulating him on his table manners, not his deviousness. Go Greg!
