Bicycles. I know caricaturists that won’t draw them. These are the party caricaturists who do little cartoon bodies featuring the subject’s hobbies or jobs. Bicycles, they sometimes say, are too tricky to draw.
I’ve loved bicycles for a long time, and have drawn and painted a bunch of them. I’m really happy when a kid says, “Draw me on a bike.”
On the other hand… drawing a bike over and over again in a comic strip is tedious.
But I’m kinda happy to do it, even if the chainrings aren’t exactly round or toothed convincingly. You guys probably don’t mind, right?
We get the drift. Which is all that matters. Thanks for your dedication to that. Oh yeah, and car interiors.
I take it Paste just did an ‘I meant to do that’ dismount?
*I* like the work you do on all the spokes, Greg!
to me you do great with them, just now I am wondering if you are seeing yourself as the artist that stays in his truck and does bikes all around.
and NOW we all know why Paste is Paste for sure. not only the attitude from his parents…but also he “learned” everything from cartoons.
not sure even an electric collar for dog would help change THAT attitude now lol
yeah.. *points* that’s what happens when TV raises your kid for you..
Considering the lovely work you do on spokes, I certainly don’t mind the chainrings being a little off.
Spokes suck.
hmmm apparently brake and gear shift cables suck too. 😛
Yes, they are not at all worth the effort.
I thought it was a belt drive ?
I thought these were those special (expensive) bikes that used a very thin sheet of transparent acrylic to support the wheels around the hub without spokes. Anyway what happened to Paste, he lost a shoe and is suddenly sitting on the ground right in front of Hubris?
His wheelie turned into a faceplant.
oh maybe going to a place called school and getting an education at least paste is doing some house work
