Yup, blew this stake-out. They’d better just stake-in for the rest of the day.
Never watch any cop show with anyone actually in law enforcement. Some understand it is just entertainment but many like to point out how what the characters are doing is completely wrong. Doctors and medical shows are still a worse mix though.
And shows about cartoonists are just totally wrong. Ted Knight drawing with a puppet on his hand… sigh…
Apparently you haven’t watched “Chicago Fire” or “Chicago PD” or “Chicago Med”.
I know an people in all three fields in Toronto, who say that all those shows are more accurate than most other shows, by about 90%.
Last week Ambo 61 rolled out to a call, and had to hold someones head together – and they showed a flap of skin – till they could get it gauzed up.
Whaaaaat? NO DOUGHNUTS?!?!?
Though it was decided in the past year that Crazy Dog Lady would henceforth be known as Cthula, no one within the strip has yet referred to her as such, if I’m not mistaken. Whereas we learned that her son is named Dub Belle-Yiu (one of the most hilariously horrible puns I’ve ever heard, and no, I’m not criticizing).
Granted, it’s not surprising that the cops would keep calling her Crazy Dog Lady, given their penchant for referring to all and sundry by description rather than name. But I would have thought her name would have long since become known to Hubris et al.
Then again, it took a loooooong time before we even learned Hubris’s last name, so why should I be surprised?
If real cops drank as much coffee as TV cops they would never get anything done because they’d be in the bathroom pretty much continually. (No way are they going to risk being caught urinating in public, right)
