    It worked during the banking crisis, it will work ANYWHERE.
    Find the one person late to the meeting and sign him up on the volunteer list. This time, let’s use the management.

    Unless you teach them that that’s not the tactic to do (make yourself so toxic, you can go to the bathroom and not come back being volunteered. I did that in a few of my clubs, why yes I have the skills but you put me in that spot this is what’s happening (example a retreat, the preferred site is remote, not enough space, not a big enough generator, it’s pretty. They don’t go outside anyways. Make me head and it’s being held in town at this building. But we need so many that stay over–I can handle beds, catering, guest artists, and printNdistribute. I can have the reservation slips ready in 3 weeks. BUT it’s where I said. That position is still open and they won’t put me into it. 🙂
