This strip is the first time in a while that I’ve created the final art digitally. There’s a pencil sketch, and everything else is digital today.
Also, it’s the first time I’ve done the strip on my laptop.
And the first time I’ve uploaded using WiFi at a hotel.
I hadn’t realized how much I prefer ink and paper. And a large desktop system.
Ah, well. I had to enter the 21st century someday!
It’s… Hubris… but. I’m a purist, I like it done the old way. There’s a flair about the ink… Still, you didn’t let us down! Yay!
I’m beginning to wonder about the Hackysack! Oh yeah.
“I had to enter the 21st century someday!”
There’s always time to turn back…
You did this in MSPaint? I also much prefer the old way. Look towards gimp for some softer brushes.
Nah, I did it in Photoshop. I even have a Wacom tablet for drawing straight into the computer, but it doesn’t have the action of the one I use on my big desktop system, and it’s certainly not a brush and ink. Ah, well. I’m back in the studio now.
Dick, Rick, Mick, Vic, Nik(ki) … and Mit. Nice play on names.
I can’t say that I mind it. It may not be as “awesome” as usual, but Gregory, you’ll have to get to it some day.
Take a look at http://www.QuestionableContent.net … he’s been digital for many moons now.
Oh this one had me laughing good. And at work too. I can see the difference in the coloring styles, but I read Hubris for the laughs so it really doesn’t matter to me.
I like the new art.
Meh… on the digital.
