Mal! Look at Mal, manning up and telling Shelly that he doesn’t know about fishing at all.
If this were a sit-com, he’d lie and keep up the pretense that he knows all about it and then get in over his head. Probably literally.
And there’d be a laugh track all over the thing.
And that guy from that show, you know the guy that’s in all those other shows since that one big show he was in during the 90’s? He’d be playing Ry.
It’d be sad.
Mal is starting to grow up. Maybe? We’re running out of people to be mad at! Well, there’s always ol’ Peter, I suppose?
And I know it’s not like you’re busy or anything, right? But I’m going to have a calendar space opening up on my wall in a couple months… 🙂 And I’m perfectly willing to pay for it, should that possibility arise. 🙂
Don’t forget Dusty, who is turning out to be very nasty and vicious.
Ooooh, yeah! Can’t forget her!
Something fishing is going on.
Bait you thought he’d worm his weigh out of it,
Not this time I saw the comic.
Carp?e diem, I “always” say…
No telling how many hooks will get snagged in Mal, but they will all be his own, I bet.
Shelly’s looking a lot less androgynous than she used to.
Greg is getting all professional and story-tellery again! Tell him to stop it, Mom!
I do remember cutting a hook out of my neighbor’s head…
I don’t know if her words in the last panel hold promise or forboding. The fact that she knows how to remove a fish hook gives me more respect for her.
Promboding.
Yeah, that works.
It’s like Shelly is making an honest man out of Mal. And for Mal to be so honest with her…
Am I less of a person for feeling a little bit proud of Mal? Or is this just a symptom of the pre-weekend jitters?
The anticipation is krilling me.
