That’s the nice thing about naming things about bad dreams… plenty of reference material to pull from. Name an author who hasn’t made some poetic reference to nightmares and dreamscapes.

Spider venom on a lentil wrap.
I played with those guys in the 70’s.
“Name an author who hasn’t made some poetic reference to nightmares and dreamscapes.”
Neil Gaiman ?
“Hasn’t”
Neil Gaiman is, like, the KING of writing about nightmares and dreamscapes.
Get it? King. Two references right there. Morpheus and Stephen. Boom. Humor.
that’s ONE of the worse dreams for sure.
Not as bad as me being naked at the Rogers Centre during a U2 Concert and being called to stage in front of 65,000 fans … plus millions watching live on TV … (this was a real dream … and not a fun one either.)
wow lol
You were forced to go to a U2 concert? How horrible. At least it wasn’t Nickleback.
I LOVE U2 Random Guy.
To be honest … I’d rather listen to ALL of U2 than all of the Beatles albums.
Naked knife juggling seems like a good way to get a cheap vasectomy.
Nah. Cheap vasectomy is to drop a Cannon Cracker in a soda can to hold onto, then count to ten on your fingers. Old joke, but gets a laugh when acted out properly.
You.. yer gonna draw ME doing naked knife juggling.. AREN’T YOU??!
I’m doing it RIGHT NOW!
DAMN IT NOW I NEED BRAIN BLEACH!!!! *tries to gouge my eyes out with a paper clip*
Oh..
*disrobes*
Reference shot?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
*smacks eyes with heels of hands* “No, no thank you. I appreciate the effort you’re putting into this. Good job. No. No no no no no.”
I think we can now officially say he’s Crazy … about as crazy as I am! LOL
*Picks up knives*
Reminds me of the dream sequences from “Gilligan’s Island.”
I hate it when my mind won’t shut down and I dream about jumping into volcanoes while juggling knives.

There should be a TV Tropes page for Hubris soon.
Right off the bat I could tell that this was a dream even before I saw the last panel, because the art is subtly different from the usual in the first three panels (though what constitutes ‘usual’ in these parts?) But if not for that, the goings-on would still have been a tip-off; even for the Hubrisphere they’re extreme and improbable. I think.
At least Hubris has better dreams than I get… cold almost killed me. After 10 days I finally got four hours of sleep at one time.
Cwazy…
