For all of you who need photo proof of adventures, I apologize for not previously posting these shots of the Sand Dune Adventure (scroll down the page a bit for the story of the adventure. It’s there.) There were some issues with getting an iPhone to email photos.
If anyone knows what the heck my brother and I do wrong when trying to email photos, by all means, let me know, ’cause I sure as heck don’t get photos he sends me or ones that I try to send to my computer from my phone.
Anyhow- finally got the photos. Here are fine people in the middle of grilling their feet:
I think these may have been shot before the panic started. What do you think?
The upper left photo is of Jay at our high point. It was when he figured out there was wet sand about a foot down. The two close ups are of my undamaged children wearing flip-flops. It doesn’t look like a stove top, does it?
The email server your sending your messages through probably has a size limit. Those limits are often quite small (5-20 MB), and binary attachments are converted to ascii text, which increases the size even further. Anywho, you would be better off transferring your images over bluetooth, or connecting the iphone with the usb cable and copying them through iPhoto or iTunes if you’re using Windows.
My feet hurt just looking at that never-ending beach with no ocean or lake to cool off in.
Jeff … get an Android device. I’ve never had problems (except service provider loss of signal) emailing, or facebooking the photos. 😀
BTW you’re insane for doing that … I hoped (but doubt) you learned a lesson.
Have fun in life, but don’t get killed. 😀
I thought it was “if you didn’t get killed it’s fun.”
Nicole looks like Kara! I suppose that’s actually the other way around . . .
Huh. Never noticed that before. My first drawings of Kara pre-date me having met Niece Nicole… but Nicole was born a year or so before I came up with Kara. Sooooo, we’ll say that Nicole, being a real person and all, has the right to say Kara looks like her. If that suits her.
