The St. Louis reveal, and the NEXT GUESS
Jul22
Here’s your reveal photo from yesterday’s photo.
Now, the next one. Nearly impossible. But this game is bound to be tough on us, right?
Okay, all you Googlemeisters with your fantastic digital detecting skills- have at it. I’m perfectly prepared to be amazed. Comments are open for the detecting!
Admittedly, this was a hard one. (Good on ya! 🙂 It’s the (or “a”) Glen Canyon National Recreational Area sign (http://www.travelblog.org/Photos/772126).
I was initially searching for “beyond” and “yonder”, then later “everyone” and “anyone”, but then I figured I was casting too wide a net.
I tried a reverse picture search, and came up with nothing.
I also tried using the Location Data in the EXIF information, but the person who took the photo, forgot to turn on GeoLocation *L*.
Oh well.
I’m gonna double check, but I believe Won got it. Hang on. I’ll post the whole photo if he’s right.
Who is the “won”, and how does he know these things. I am a little scared of him now. I took this photo on one of the most remote highways in the contiguous United States. This should have been way harder
Just wait ’til tomorrow’s challenge. That’ll get EVERYONE.
Muah ha ha hah ha ha… Teh Go0gle sees all and knows all!
Ah well, at the (significant) risk of making life much harder for us “Where’s Hubris” aficionados, my further train of thought latched on to the word “canyon” as being the most likely Hubris-related term with a “yon” in it. A Google Image Search for canyon sign eventually revealed a compatible image near the bottom of page 11.
No secret sauce really, just time spent perusing possible images. That said, it took less than an hour all told.
We got to get you a hobby. Still… pretty darned impressive sleuthing.
