If you’re in the ‘States, this illustration isn’t any surprise to you. This time of year, we dress up holiday mascots in whatever crap we think is fun. If you’re not from the states- Today is ‘Thanksgiving’ when we eat Turkey, traditionally the kind of food we think of early settlers and native North Americans sharing. Now, here we go with a Turkey dressed for skating (Turkeys wear helmets… you’ll hear that from lots of cool people) It’s a quicky drawing, just for funsies. Have a lovely holiday, everyone.
Canadians are much smarter then Americans.
We ate our Turkey’s 6 weeks ago. We’ve lost that weight already.
When Christmas comes, we’ll put on more, but, it’ll be gone by the end of January. Americans, who pack the weight on non-stop from today until after Christmas, it’ll take 2-3 times as long to lose the weight – this is the reason, American’s should move Yank’sGiving to coincide with Canadian Thanksgiving. 😀
Ha! Don’t say that too loud. Our Corporate Overlords will have the Ungoverned announce it and by next year, we’ll have a shopping season that just gives everyone’s last penny to their credit card companies, thus completing the economic subjugation of all Americans. And we don’t get Bailout money- The Ungoverned say it’s better for us to give than to receive.
I like to think the traditional TD meal was eels and other creatures from the Bay:

But yeah, I’m going to stick with turkey.
