I’ve been listening to an audiobook on economics while working today.
I don’t think I’ll write anything you’d like to read tonight. My brain is so dry right now, you could pack it with new stereo equipment to absorb moisture in the box.
Well, here’s more of Team Us. We’re a magnificent bunch, ain’t we?
It’s the beginning of the Return Of Team Us!
I’ll try to put as many cues as possible as I go, but if you think any of the characters for the next few months MIGHT be you? It’s you.
Right. So we’re back to the in-fill cartoons and the book’s nearly done, art-wise. The last few comics are written, so unless some of you guys write in and tell me something that’s better than what’s already on paper, I’m racing for the finish line for the Stanky Creek book.
Whew!
Durn if this story arc hasn’t grown legs. It was MONTHS ago that I asked you guys to send photos if you wanted to be in the competitions, and now we’re finally in the competitions. Team Us is a pretty sizable group- I fit as many as I could in today, but there are more. If you missed out on the invitation, well, feel free to click on the ‘contact’ button or the ’email’ button on this here site and send a photo along with your name and any suggested sport you’d like to participate in. I’ll do what I can. You have to promise that you won’t get your feelings hurt if the caricature doesn’t look EXACTLY like you, and if you don’t get to be the shining star in first place. Comic strips are for the funny, and winning is not always hilarious.
Or so I’ve been told. I don’t win enough to know, myself.
Thanks to Dave Mason, I have started a Youtube set of videos. Also, thanks to Allan for suggesting the whole mess. You’re killin’ me, man.
Anyhow, Here’s Doran- my mentor- skating a run his dad said wasn’t quite up to snuff. I don’t know what he’s talking about. I’m dreaming of the day I can pull that off.
There are more videos coming- mostly called Gideos, ’cause Gideon shot most of the raw footage I collected to get this thing started.
Allan VS is kind enough to post here often, but for the past few years now, every time I think of the name Allan, I get this stuck in my head. Had to share, just to drive it out a bit.
