The surgery went good. They punched a hole in my neck and ran some kind of plumber’s tool in there that featured a flashlight and li’l tiny robot grabber fingers. I dunno.
Anyhow, they took a filter out of my chest. Yay. I got to go home. Yay! I binge-watched ‘House’ (season 5) Yay! I nodded off about a hundred times. Boo!
We’ll try this again tomorrow.

Take your time to heal properly! Suppose we should be glad it happened in Spring, slightly more chance of you not doing things that could inflame the necessary damage from the surgery. Slightly.
Seriously though, filler comics now while you look after yourself means we keep getting Hubris for longer. No question which option we prefer, so get back on that couch and watch House do his thing.
I AM STILL not sure ‘House’ is the best TV SHOW after a clinic visit…I speak from experience. hehe

i think everybody has already said everything that can be said… get well, be careful n all that. so, i’m just going to hop on that trolley n hope it’s not going to be another one goin’ on an unexpected field trip to hades. (they really aught to put clearer signs on those things… it’s not Nearly as fun as they say it will be!)

Keep the pain meds close. You’ll need them for a while.
They didn’t prescribe any. No real pain from this. Just minor discomfort and dry eyes and throat.
Honestly, they prescribed pain meds after the clot surgery last year, but I never got it filled. They kept saying that most people hurt from the clots. I never got any real pain before or after. I hope that’s a good thing. Hate to be one of those people who one day fall over and they say, “Man, he should have felt there was a problem. He must have been stupid.”
AH HA!! The creation of the Borg has been figured out!

Watch The Orville, Greg. It’s funny in a sci-fi kinda way. But it gets REALLY good writing.
