The Waa-hoo could be heard for miles, and echoed for 5 minutes. Afterward, no one could be sure if it was Paste or Hubris that had done it.
Poor Hubris looks awful. I know he is a fictional character but it pulls my heart strings to see him in such a terrible way, also the discussion him and Kara had was a bad idea for that time because Hubris isn’t in the right mind space. Heck i would be surprised if he didn’t end up in a mental institution after all this.

He’ll end up selling the fest for enough to continue to have the Outdoor Galore store, and go get some sleep, load up his jeep, and go whitewater kayaking for a weekend, then probably get some Frisbee golf in there, and ride his unicycle off into the sunset.
The guy definitely needs a break in the worst possible way. Maybe go on a long trip. Somewhere calm. Surrounded by nature. Floating away on a lazy river in a big inflatable raft. Annnnd maybe some whitewater around the next bend. Kara, get the truck!

Hubris can’t be held accountable for that yeah. And just toss it out there, Peter and Steve can have a bidding war on who wants to pay more for the fest, and the highest bidder that PAYS UP FRONT gets it?
Then Hubris could participate, and also get sleep….
He didn’t want to do the fest again anyway but felt forced into doing it.
Yep, but this time he’s got a chance to unload it and unicycle off into the sunset. Kara, she’s got too wide a competitive streak to settle for a ‘Steve’.
I just hate to see him so beaten down. He hates this festival, but he loves this festival. Same thing with his life. Something has to give.
