You’ve heard of Elevator Pitches, haven’t you?
Can’t just be me.
I don’t think I dreamed that.

I tried.
“Elevator pitches” is a very common term in the writing world. You are told you need a short synopsis of your story (like a back book cover) and a long synopsis after you get an agent interested, but the Elevator pitch is the very first thing you present in order to snag that interest.
I used to have a very chatty co-worker in the cubicle next to mine and I used to tell them “Let’s play the elevator game.” That’s where you stare straight ahead and don’t speak.
I once came up with a TV show about pitching elevators. But apparently I hit all the wrong buttons.
