Have you ever been in Duncan’s situation? You’re kinda tired. You might take a nap to rebuild your energy. Or you might jump up and spend more energy.
Sounds crazy, but it works that way sometimes.

Oh very much so. It varies a lot on what the trigger is to get the ol’ posterior motivated and moving, again.
IF you’re on an 11 day do-it-all vacation you really need a day around Wednesday or Thursday, just to take one off and loaf all day. (you start on a Friday night, all weekend, all that week, and the following Saturday and Sunday, and have to go face the world on that Monday)
This is the Outdoorsfest through. Most should be able to get through it without a ‘day of rest’. Okay, maybe taking one event off Sunday afternoon, but that’s tops.
Calvinball! Yeah!
First thing…..Find Calvin!!
Quick, get Durnell! Find out what the rules book says what the rules are for Calvinball!
Calvinball:
You make the rules up, as you go along.
Love his expression in panel 3. xD he looks like he’s trolling her in a way.
Hey, if someone said “Wanna play Calvinball?” I would climb out of a COFFIN, nevermind a comfy nap spot.
MASKS! You can’t play Calvinball without MASKS!.. who’s making them. Duct tape ones would stay on, but getting them off might really painful…..
I thought we just changed the rules to take pff the masks.
The MASKS and the SONG you sang at the start were the ONLY two things consistent with Calvinball. You had to have your mask (and they looked like Zorro or Lone Ranger type ones) and you had to sing that song at the start (I don’t have the song handy but. There was one time Calvin talked his babysitter into playing it, and had to make her a mask, they sang the song, and played. Finally she caught on, made up a rule and touched them both with the ‘babysitter flag’ to flag them out of the game, and it was now over and bedtime…)
