Ramon: “What? You say we are not all on same page already? This is same script we always use. Page 5. Right here – ‘Ramon enter kitchen, profess love to strange woman in room.’ I miss getting new script, Mrs. Dorothy?”
[blinkblink]
…
There is not enough coffee in the World to help straighten this mess out.
But, having said that, given how crappy both Ramon and Ms. Wiggins-Ross are being treated and chucked about, I’d say they should actually take it and run. Both of’em head off to Aruba and leave these nuts to cope with reality with out them. I’d say it would be a hella better plan than the one they’re buried in Now.
This is the first time that Mrs. Foris has been called by her first name, I believe. It’s usually the opposite: it took a while before Paste’s last name was revealed, and Lowell’s (Dentro). And still longer for Hubris’s (Draussen). And as I noted re the previous strip, Wiggins-Ross is still on a last-name basis only.
Oh yes, Greg, I for one have long noticed that you enjoy drawing expressions, and you excel at it. Said expressions create or contribute to much of the humor, and are as much a part of the storytelling as the words and action — more so, sometimes.
I hope Ramon is paid well. He probably isn’t being paid nearly enough.
knowing the attitude of the “husband” I really won’t pay he is even close to having a NORMAL payment.
OH! I WAS RIGHT!
But the Ramon speech…even scarier there.
Ramon: “What? You say we are not all on same page already? This is same script we always use. Page 5. Right here – ‘Ramon enter kitchen, profess love to strange woman in room.’ I miss getting new script, Mrs. Dorothy?”
Now that’s service.
