A little alcohol from the guy who plowed into him smooths everything over. And yeah, Steven is der schnowflake in Erich’s opinion too. No respect, even worse than Rodney Dangerfield.
Steven is a good doctor, and he is willing to run on a bad ankle rather than give up on running. The only reason anyone rags on him is that this comic is called “Hubris” and Steve’s gunning for Hubris’ girlfriend. If this were the “Steve the Runner” comic, everyone would be ragging on Hubris for being a useless slacker. Just cut Steve some slacker here.
Hows about I cut the slack in Steve’s line? Will that work? hehe
Its the difference in European vs American culture, we’re very litigious on this side of the pond, Europeans less so. And like James said a little alcohol smooths over a lot of hurt feelings, especially when the damage doesn’t seem to be that severe.
As long as “Lil’ Stevie” doesn’t GET the girl, I’m good with him learning the good lessons and becoming a happy(ier) camper. 🙂
It seems they both like razzing li’l Stevie. That and a little bit of whatever Mr. Biner has with him.
