I’m a morning person. I get cranky and unreasonable at an unreasonably early hour. It makes hitting the new deadlines on Hubris sorta… tricky.
Anyhow, are you getting the @hubriscomics tweets? Maybe you should.

I don’t tweet so I won’t get his tweets, sorry.
I’m a night person – I find it easier to be up at 2am, then 8am. I think morning people are INSANE. 😀
I only started the tweeting recently, but it’s pretty easy to see why people get caught up in it. The kayak and bike companies keep posting videos of the craziest stuff. I follow along on some other cartoonists, too, of course.
And, well, of course morning people are crazy, but gosh if it isn’t nice and quiet at 4:00 a.m., with the whole day spread out in front of you and no hurries at the moment. Niiiiiiice.
+1 point to my “your crazy” meter added. Thanks. I do like the silence of the morning.
I get up at 8am (cuz of damned school…) but I go to b ed between 12:30 and 1:30 (I usually only need 6 hours of sleep.)
BUT I prefer 9am wakeup.
NEED? I NEED nine hours of sleep, but I never get it.
Lack of sleep effects balance. Note to Hubris, a being tired on a muni ride can end up with you grabbing at a Hawthorn bush. 😀 Need is relative to pain level some times…
I so wish I could be a morning person. It would make my life SO much easier. I am what might be considered the ULTIMATE night owl, thanks to a pair of sleep disorders: Sleep Phase Delay Syndrome and Ideopathic Hypersomnia. (Yeah, I managed to get 2 of the rarer ones. Totally NOT FAIR.)
I completely agree that 4:00 am is nice and peaceful, but I’m at the other end of things, just heading to bed, when I experience it.
