Would you please quit encouraging people to deface public property with those stickers. Yes I like the stickers, yes I have one on my laptop, no I don’t like seeing them scattered across North America like graffiti.
I haven’t explicitly said so, but Jeff is not leaving the stickers after he takes his photos. It was kind of a concern when he sent in the first few- I asked him if I was going to be contacted by the authorities and asked to drive to heaven-knows-where to come and scrape a sticker off a sign in the middle of Utah or something. Not that I don’t need a nice trip to Utah.
So, just for Alabama Alan’s peace of mind and my gas budget – Be clever, and be a good scout- leave no trace! This is the official request to use gum or spit or something to hold the sticker in place til you get a nice photo or ten, then peel the backing and put the sticker on your own stuff, not the stuff we all share.
