Hair “cut?” You mean hair “flambé?” He lost it all in Flaming Hackey-Sack event this past ‘fest, as I recall, just after Jacquee McDurdle lost her hairpiece the same way…
“There’s your problem,” said the electrician, peering up at the burned ceiling. “Too many hidden junction boxes, and one over loaded, caught fire, and burned the small town in the mountain down.”
Having noticed a convergence of plot arcs about to take place, I wondered if Kelly and/or Dusty would be involved. Wouldn’t you know, on 4/10, while presenting his program idea to Kelly, the Sasquatch character (who was the occasion of Clem’s mace mishap) mentions how he “lives and loves”:
“By Jello-wrestling ditzy ladies in a li’l mountain town tavern ’bout thirty minutes drive from here.”
Sounds like a comic book convention. Except people will be pretending to be active.
Ummmm. I see “Paste” has a new haircut? Uh huh… nothing to see here…

I rather suspect Paste is a reincarnation of good old Alfred E. 🙂
Or some kind of hybrid between Alfred E. & Sylvester P. 😛

who says a hairdo has to last an entire story arc? Some characters are too busy for that
Conjunction DIS-function, you mean. : )
DON’T FORGET THE JELLO WRESTLIN’!!!
Gee, I wonder who is going to encounter Hubris first? Anyone care to take a wild guess?
Mmm… my money’s on ranger Bob.
For all those wondering about Paste’s hair; this is the last time he was seen WITHOUT a head covering or helmet (August 2022): https://hubriscomics.com/comic/hubris-advantageous/
Note the missing hair. Burned off by the Flaming Hacky Sack.
Well, at least–from the looks of the rain–the wind is dying down.

Kelly promised to “make a couple of calls.”
Could it be the same mountain town?
Oh, you KNOW it’s the same mountain town…
