How many times have I started conversations with my kids, or arranged meetings, or gone somewhere to accomplish something- and thought I had a reason. Sometimes, more than one reason. I like it when errands are done with, like, at least three reasons in mind.
And then, you get the point when you realize that your reasons break down one by one, and finally… You’re at Target SuperStore for, essentially, whatever you see that you can buy and make it look like you didn’t discover that you were on a fool’s errand the whole time. Poptarts and a diet Mountain Dew. Y’know, like you meant to come in for that. Maybe a Cadbury egg or two, in season.
Or worse, you lost your list, or you ran out of funds, or they ran out of what you wanted….
Hubris always comes sunny side up. Have to like that.
well he at LEAST remembered finally to tell him. even if i agree with Hubris sincerely…Lowell be Lowell as they say.
but i should have expected that Kelly wouldn’t lose his “north compass” i swear in the end lol
Mmmm Cadbury eggs… [gurgle]
They have those at the Sportsmart commissary.
The CEO table uses them as centerpieces.
And that, as they say, is that.
Cadbury egg season in about 5 months. Yum.
oh well next kelly should propose that wire idea with paste for surely he will go for it .
Since Paste used to work there it’d be easy, too.
Doesn’t Everybody do that… Isn’t that where stores got the idea to stock useless stuff right up by the cash register, and call it “impulse buying”, from?
Also why they say never shop while hungry. Go in for a roll of duct tape and end up with a cart full of everything edible in the store but no duct tape…?
Glad Hubris finally knocked this plan back…..
