Long hikes. It’s an entertaining time to see whose phone coverage is the best… or there at all.
Our grandkids will one day be baffled by the idea that there was anywhere on Earth you couldn’t get a phone signal.
Or, perhaps, our grandkids will one day not know what a phone is and drive souped up junkers in the wasteland that is our collective grave.
Either way.
A walk is very subjective. They left the door open for the non-wildlife to come wander up the hill and into the woods. Next there will be somebody expecting the bears to be Disney-tame…
Wondering what our intrepid couple will meet next? Someone shooting a music video?
One of these days, they’ll be as good as land lines, … which we already have
I remember trying to call back home on kayak trips when all we had were land lines. Entertaining days, them was. Lotta extra driving.
And that is the kind of shit I expect to happen one day
Don’t touch our wooded lands
hahahaha!!! THAT is good!
Mornin’ ya’ll.
The strip was great today: lots of detail, the irony of the politico not seeing the sign for the phone, his general ignorance of reality, etc. I will resist the temptation for more detailed political comments.
The part of no GPS wouldn’t be true unless it is shut down by the firmware when no cell tower is available. But coming from our faithful bureauc”rats” with their nose in the phone instead of the surroundings would of course miss the convenient signposts.
