Beats the interview where I got asked if I could walk on water (honest, true story) (and I answered back without pause, frozen or not; and totally stunned the interviewer)
I had that happen at a show on a Saturday, I had a fellow demand to know my shop address because he was going to show up on Monday and paint rocks for me for $8 an hour (minimum was $5.00 an hour). I had an artist friend that did a few sets of these lovely painted rock paperweights and I had put them out for her… this gent had been looking for work for a few months and had decided that he could paint rocks and get paid. I did point out I didn’t live in this city and I had no help wanted signs up. Fine I was going to give him $1000 to move and he was going to show up Monday. I tried hard to convince him I was NOT hiring, I had no job openings, I wasn’t advertising for anyone. He was determined he was showing up to be paid to paint rocks. I explained about the artist friend, I hadn’t paid her, and if the rocks didn’t sell I was giving them back to her. It took getting the show management and security to escort him off, he got quite angry I wasn’t going to pay him to paint rocks. But you paid that person to! I Can Too!
I like Bob, but I do wonder who is more clueless, him or Lowell? And is Bob really even clueless, or does he act that way to hide his genius intellect?
So Bob needs a job because his Parole Officer is checking up? Hmmm… or he has had someone catch up and he has child support… or now that the fest is over, Paste had let him stay at Hubris’ until after the fest, now Bob needs a place to live; um… or he needs a bus ticket to his next gig. Hmm.

Hubris: “I have a policy of not hiring people that already have jobs, Bob…”
LoL that is one gross sounding bracelet.
I also like how Bob ASSUMES he’s working, not asks.

Bob isn’t quite that in the face at least….
Neat.
Heh. Look up some funeral home addresses for next time…
This dude was almost scaring me to ‘restraining order’, okay?

I think Bob is a lot smarter than he lets on. He’s learned that this way and attitude and such, gets him what he wants and needs…. heh.
I think I’m not the only one who’s met a few Bobs in my time.

You are not alone on meeting Bobs, sir.
Isn’t it the employer who is supposed to tie the employee down, and not the other way around?
