Some of you guys are kind enough to take time to click on the Vote Hubris button over there on the right. I have to admit that for the first few months, when it was me and maybe one or two other people consistently clicking to vote, the numbers weren’t very entertaining. Thanks to Allan VS (regular reader and Team Hubris lieutenant, I guess) motivating folks to take the time, and thanks especially to those who answered the call, Hubris has broken 1000 votes this month- something I hadn’t expected to see so quickly. It puts Hubris way up in the top 100, where more readers are likely to come and share the Hubris experience with us.

For you who tune in for extra cartooning or funny stories or weird photos of stickers- Thank you! I hope folks get something out of the blog-type extras I put on here. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are off-content days and I’m pretty lazy about when I do the updates. Mornings. Usually. It’s chill. If you’d like to complain that I don’t update the odd content days the evening beforehand, please say so! I just get the sense that folks don’t scroll down the page regularly looking at the non-Hubris content.

If, however, you’d rather have something a bit more specialicious, then here’s my offer- From the stack of books I have here in my hot little hands- I will send you a book upon which I will autograph something to you particularly, along with a cute li’l sketch of whoever I psychically observe you would most benefit from having a sketch of, a couple of stickers (square or round, depending on what I have left at the moment) and, let’s say, a pencil original from a Hubris strip. I do the pencil work on one page and the ink work on a whole different sheet. I can’t bring myself to just toss the pencil pages, so this looks like a great way to unload ‘em on you guys. All this for a horrific price. No, I don’t want your firstborn. I have one of my own already and who the heck wants two firstborn? It messes up the line of succession. No, I’d rather have $23.50 in U.S. dollars from you. Yes, that’s far more expensive than the ones at the link above. It’s kind of a scam. Here I am scrawling in a perfectly good book, ruining the spine by jamming extra junk in there, and charging you more for it. It’s a sickness. I’m setting up credit card stuff now, and trying to learn how PayPal works, but if you want to mail a check, just say the word and I’ll tell you where to send it. These may make good Christmas gifts, assuming your recipients aren’t too picky.
